Team India is all set to lock horns with Australia in the ODI series starting on November 27. This is going to the first-ever series for Men in Blue in the post-coronavirus era. And, he has found a unique way of doing practice inside his room. The right-handed batsman shared a clip of the same and got a witty response from his teammate Shikhar Dhawan.
This is the first time in the last decade that Team India has traveled to Australia on a multi-format tour. The Men in Blue are currently struggling with the injury woes of their senior players like Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma. But, still, they have several talented players in the squad that can turn things around on their better days. Also, this tour will surely pave a way for the youngsters, who were waiting for an opportunity to perform well for Team India.
Shikhar Dhawan Trolls Ajinkya Rahane
Ajinkya Rahane, who is Team India’s vice-captain, might get the charge to lead the team in Border-Gavaskar Trophy in the absence of regular skipper Virat Kohli. So, he is trying everything in order to get back into his prime. The 32-year-old recently shared a clip on Instagram in which he can be spotted practicing inside his room. He also gave a caption to his post that read, “Off day from the nets means I find other ways to keep batting. Can’t stay away from my bat for too long. Sorry neighbors.”.
This showed that although Team India had an off. But, Rahane stills wants to practice in every way possible. Shikhar Dhawan, who is known for his humor, soon came across this post. He was quite quick to comment in a hilarious fashion. The southpaw took to his official Instagram handle and made a comment that read,” “Bhai maan gaye ek din pahle practice match khela tha.
