Sanju Samson Fitness Test

Sanju Samson, the wicketkeeper for India, has confirmed that he has regained his fitness and would soon return to play following a knee injury. Samson, the captain of the Rajasthan Royals, was not chosen for the Indian team for the current 3-match T20I series against New Zealand.

Samson was notably ruled out of the T20I series against Sri Lanka due to a knee injury received earlier in the first T20Is.

Sanju Samson, who is currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, shared the happy news with his followers on social media.

“All set and ready to go,” Samson wrote on Instagram.

Samson was replaced by Vidarbha cricketer Jitesh Sharma for the remaining games of the Sri Lanka series.

Samson won’t play competitive cricket again until the IPL 2023 because Kerala failed to advance to the next round of the Ranji Trophy.
