Chetan Sharma Resign

Cricket in India is once more in the news headlines due to the wrong reasons. As per the latest development, Chetan Sharma, the chairman of the selection committee, resigned as a result of a TV sting operation in which he revealed shocking information about Indian cricket. Chetan Sharma submitted his letter of resignation to BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Friday.

As a result, there is currently a cloud over the Selection Committee meeting for the final two Tests in the Border Gavaskar Trophy and the ODI series.

Chetan Sharma, the head selector for the BCCI, leaves his position. Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, received his resignation and accepted it.

Chetan was caught on camera during the sting describing how he spoke with India’s captain Rohit Sharma for 30 minutes and shared that Hardik Pandya would visit him late at night to talk about his future.

The conflict between Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli was another topic that Chetan Sharma covered in great detail. Because he believed Ganguly played a part in his ouster as India’s captain in the white-ball forms, Chetan claimed Kohli intended to malign the then-BCCI president. Chetan, though, said that Kohli’s attempt failed.
