As per the latest development, Chetan Sharma, the chairman of the selection committee, resigned as a result of a TV sting operation in which he revealed shocking information about Indian cricket. Chetan Sharma submitted his letter of resignation to BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Friday.
As a result, there is currently a cloud over the Selection Committee meeting for the final two Tests in the Border Gavaskar Trophy and the ODI series.

Chetan was caught on camera during the sting describing how he spoke with India’s captain Rohit Sharma for 30 minutes and shared that Hardik Pandya would visit him late at night to talk about his future.
