The highly anticipated SA20 second season is scheduled to begin on January 10 at Port Elizabeth with an exciting match between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Johannesburg Super Kings.
Six strong teams, all owned by IPL franchise owners, will compete in this season of the SA20: MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Johannesburg Super Kings, and Durban Super Giants.
30 league games will take place at multiple venues throughout Cape Town, Gqeberha, Johannesburg, Paarl, Centurion, and Durban during the SA20 2024. The tournament will conclude on February 4 with the league final.
After the league stage, just like IPL, the top two teams on the points table will battle it out in Qualifier 1 on February 6, with the winner securing a direct berth in the grand finale on February 10.
The defeated team, however, will have a second chance in Qualifier 2 on February 8, facing off against the winner of the Eliminator scheduled for February 7.
