Activision has revealed information regarding the Modern Warfare 3 Rio map that will be included in Season 1 Reloaded. An extensive overview of the 6v6 map, which can accommodate both close-quarters and long-range combat, was given by the Call of Duty blog.
Rio is one of the three new maps that will be available in Season 1 Reloaded, which is scheduled to release on January 17, 2024.
The lively upscale market and retail center architecture from Rio de Janeiro are incorporated into the new map. It is split into two primary areas: the surrounding streets for long-range fighting and the Central Mall for close-quarters fighting.
Modern Warfare 3 Rio Map
On the Modern Warfare 3 Rio map, a maximum of 12 players can participate in a single match, with two teams of six players vying for supremacy. The most recent addition to the traditional 6v6 multiplayer mode is the map.
The Modern Warfare 3 Rio map is centered around five major areas: Main Street, the Garage, the Mall, and the two spawn places in the Tram Station and Cafe.
The majority of the head-to-head fights will occur on the open ground at the Tram Station (North).
Due to the absence of cover, players should exercise caution when traversing this portion of the map. This spawn point’s gift shop, with its cramped interior and narrow alleyway, is a major attraction.
In the meantime, the Cafe (South), with its many walls and cars to hide behind, offers excellent cover. The point is a good starting place to reach other significant locations on the map because of its side alleyways, which link to the Market and Garage.
Players should become familiar with three important regions on the map in addition to the spawn points.
The Mall serves as the primary fighting site and offers multiple entry points for players to enter and exit gunfights swiftly. The majority of the objectives are located in the middle portion.
Aside from being strong sites on the map, the Garage and Market can also be exploited to obtain tactical advantages due to their well-defined platforms. Main Street is another important location; it’s a level area with a covered walkway that has locations and things you can climb.
