The producer of PUBG Mobile, Rick Li, spoke about impending updates on stage at PMGC 2023. Li revealed several ideas for the future in addition to a retrospective on the game’s achievements in 2023. Additionally, he hinted about certain PUBG Mobile 3.0 Update forthcoming features.
Li revealed additional details regarding the Version 3.0 Update, which is expected to launch in January, in the most recent tease. Li disclosed that the game will let users take on the role of futuristic warriors and use formidable new weapons in battle.
This information comes after a slew of enigmatic hints regarding the Version 3.0 Update were published on PUBG’s social media platforms.
PUBG Mobile 3.0 Update & Other Features
Regarding PUBG’s future, Li revealed that players can expect surprises along with more iterations of beloved maps, brand-new sections and buildings, and enhancements to vehicle handling, connectivity, and overall performance.
There will also be a significant upgrade for Metro Royale. It will have a brand-new map with a winter theme that is jam-packed with supplies, intriguing dynamics, a brand-new cold weather system, and more.
There are also big updates coming shortly for PUBG Mobile’s World of Wonder, including new home gameplay. Players will be able to create their own little world and invite people to come explore it with them.
The developers will keep enhancing the editor, adding additional templates, and bringing down the creation barrier.
Li declared that PUBG Mobile is setting up an incentive program worth US $10 million in resources and spending $100 million in the World of Wonder ecosystem in order to help the rapidly expanding and highly esteemed creative community.
