Skyesports Announces Counter-Strike 2 Roadmap 2024: All You Need To Know

A full Counter-Strike 2 competition schedule for 2024 has been revealed by Skyesports. Six competitions, three held in India and three overseas, will be hosted by Skyesports and will all be LAN events.

One million dollars USD will be the total prize money for all six events combined.

Skyesports, an Indian esports organization, has unveiled their whole Counter-Strike 2 plan for 2024. 

With a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD, or around ₹8,31,41,150 INR, it offers six events.

Of the six international Counter-Strike (CS2) competitions, three will be hosted in India and three will be conducted abroad. All of the events are scheduled to occur via local and international LANs.

Skyesports CS2 2024 Roadmap

Skyesports CEO and founder Shiva Nandy said that the game’s increasing popularity had given them great possibilities to make investments, and that their 2024 strategy was designed with talent development, worldwide expansion, and participating teams’ sustainability in mind.

In all, Skyesports plans to host six events in 2024—three in India and three outside—with a combination of domestic and foreign teams. The details of the tournaments are as follows:

1. Skyesports Grand Slam

  • 14th to 18th March 2024
  • $50,000 USD

2. Skyesports Masters 2024

  • 13th to 19th May 2024
  • $350,000 USD
  • India

3. Skyesports Championship 6.0

  • 4th to 7th July 2024
  • $150,000 USD
  • India

4. Skyesports Souvenir

  • 13th to 15th September 2024
  • $150,000 USD
  • Colombo, Sri Lanka

5. Skyesports Global Tour

  • 25th to 27th October 2024
  • $250,000 USD
  • Bangkok, Thailand

6. India vs Pakistan Series

  • 20th to 22nd December 2024
  • $50,000 USD
  • Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Skyesports Grand Slam is scheduled to take place in March of 2024. The franchised esports league Skyesports Masters 2024, which takes place in May, will come after it. 

Following this, the longest-running domestic esports IP, Skyesports Championship 6.0, which is slated for July, would be the final CS2 event to take place in India.
