The former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, who is known for his hilarious posts and opinion on social media, complemented Rishabh Pant in his own style. He took to his official Twitter handle and shared a post saying that this kind of performance no one gets to witness such kind performances every day in cricket. He also shared still that says Brisbane’s name should be changed to Pantnagar.

In the post-match conference, Rishabh Pant got a bit emotional and said that this is one of the biggest days in his life and a memorable one. He added that although he was not playing well. But, still, the management and support staff had faith in him.

“This is one of my biggest days in life. The support the team has given me even when I was not playing has been incredible. It’s a dream come true,” Pant was quoted as saying after the match.

“We’ve been practicing hard after the first Test. The team management always backs me and tells me you are a match-winner and you have to go out there and win and I am happy I did it today. It was a fifth-day pitch and the ball was turning,” he added.
