Indian bowlers have certainly proved their mantle in Brisbane with their skillfully bowling. They have not allowed the hosts’ batsman to get settle on the wicket. Both the teams are currently playing at The Gabba and it is Day-1 of the series-deciding game. And, unexpectedly Australia got off the mark with the worse possible start to their game. Mohammed Siraj was the first bowler for India to strike a wicket in the match. But, the credit should be given to Rohit Sharma as his brilliant piece of fielding from behind the stumps helped Team India in getting the big wicket of David Warner.

India had a poor day at the toss and Australia elected to bat on a batting-friendly wicket. However, the young Indian bowlers took the responsibility on their shoulders to put their best forward in the absence of main bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Mohammed Siraj, the right-handed pacer, who has played only two Tests, helped visitors in getting big fish David Warner’s wicket. The 26-year-old bowled a marvelous outswinger that took the thick edge of the willow and carried it to the slip. The ball was traveled quite low between the first and second slip. And, it was Rohit Sharma’s brilliant fielding effort due to which India managed to send Warner back to the pavilion.

The Indian fielder went for a sull stretched dive towards his right and fists a world-class catch with both hands. And, Warner could manage to score only 1 odd run in the game.

Indian bowlers kept taking wickets in the game at regular intervals. Steve Smith, Marcus Harris were the other batters, who dismissed without scoring much in the series-deciding game. But, tourists are still due to take the ticket of in-form batsman Marnus Labuschagne, who has scored his first ton of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21. Earlier, he was dropped at a score of 37 runs by Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane. And, he went on to score a magnificent ton.

He will be a dangerman for Team India and can take the game single-handedly away from Team India. And, the Indian bowling line-up will soon have to take a note of the same and they should try to send the right-handed batsman back to pavilion.
