Delhi Capitals canceled their trip to Pune on 18th April for the upcoming affair against Punjab Kings slated to be played on 20th April. This decision was taken after the team and support staff was hit by COVID-19. And, the management quickly came into action and asked everyone to stay inside their rooms.

A close source to Delhi Capitals has revealed that a doorstep CVID-19 test will be conducted and every individual will have to go through it. As per him, after the results appropriate decision will be taken by the franchise and BCCI.

It is known that DC physio Patrick Farhart has already contracted the noble virus and now it seems other players have also shown symptoms of COVID-19. Other than Patrick, there is one player, who has shown mild symptoms of the same. Now, the player will undergo an antigen test in order to get the exact update over the same.

There have been rumors that Mitchell Marsh is the player, who has been tested for COVID-19 positive. It comes out as a major setback for the IPL fans in the ongoing Indian Premier League season.

Last year, IPL suddenly came to a halt due to a sudden increase in the number of positive cases in the league. And, BCCI will not want the same situation to emerge this year as well. So, BCCI will be on their toes in order to keep the situation under control without hitting a high.
