The 2023 IPL season will get underway in March. The mini-auction, which will be held on December 23 in Kochi, will mark the start of the Indian Premier League’s next season. There will be new rules and characters in the upcoming season.

There won’t be as many familiar names this season. Even athletes who took part in the auction the year before, such as Pat Cummins, Alex Hales, and Sam Billings, have withdrawn their names this time around. Suresh Raina, Mr. IPL, has announced his retirement.

Several other players have also announced their retirement from the IPL, and two of them have already accepted coaching positions with their former franchises. Know the 3 big names who will turn up as coaches in IPL 2023.

Dwayne Bravo

The Indian Premier League’s all-time leading wicket-taker is Dwayne Bravo. The Chennai Super Kings player, who served as his team’s primary death bowler for several seasons, has made the decision to declare his retirement from the league before the 2023 campaign.

Bravo began his career with the Mumbai Indians before joining CSK. He played for the Gujarat Lions while CSK was on suspension, then returned to Chennai when the team was reinstated. He will now serve as the team’s bowling coach.

Kieron Pollard

The Mumbai Indians’ main batter was Kieron Pollard. He served as a versatile player, making some incredible catches and picking up big wickets when the team needed them.

In IPL 2022, Pollard was out of shape. By the end of the season, the Mumbai Indians had even dropped him from the starting lineup. In IPL 2023, the all-rounder will serve as MI’s batting coach.

Ashish Nehra

Ashish Nehra made history in the IPL 2022 by being the first Indian head coach to triumph in the league. Nehra served as the Gujarat Titans’ head coach during their inaugural campaign.

Thanks to Nehra’s innovative tactics and cool demeanor, the Ahmedabad-based club won the IPL 2022 final on their field and took first place in the points standings. After that, Nehra began coaching in the IPL, spending two seasons as Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowling coach.
