His final season total was 830 runs from 8 games, with a strike rate of 125.38 and an average of 138.33. He finished the season with 500 runs. Many teams will make a strong effort to get this Indian keeper during the IPL 2023 auction.

Shai Hope is a T20I hitter who plays by the rules. In ODIs, he leads the West Indies in runs scored. In 2019, the keeper-batter scored 1345 runs in 28 ODIs for the Windies, including 8 fifty-plus runs and a 400-plus run performance.

Since then, he has amassed 709 runs in 21 ODIs while scoring 282 runs in six ODIs in 2020, 310 runs in five games in 2021. His T20I performance is not impressive, as he has only amassed 304 runs in 19 matches. He hasn’t yet participated in the IPL, however he is a safe keeper behind the wickets who may surprise teams.
