Hasan Ali fight

During a local cricket match in Pakistan, pace bowler Hasan Ali lost his cool and fumed at the crowd. The crowd was booing and heckling him and the Pakistani speedster almost got into a physical altercation with the fans, during his lash-out.

Hasan Ali was being booed by the crowd for dropping a sitter of a catch during Pakistan’s semi-final game against Australia in the ICC T20I World Cup 2021. The crowd was also mocking the pacer for not being a part of Pakistan’s squads at the present moment.

In the video that went viral, Ali ran toward the crowd and had to be stopped by the organizers. In the heat of the moment, Ali was just inches away from getting into a physical fight. Those were quite ugly scenes on a cricket field.

Hasan Ali was dropped from the Pakistan side after the Asia Cup 2022

Hasan Ali was playing this local match in Arif Wali in the Pakpattan district in Pakistan. The speedster last played for Pakistan in their Super 4 game in the Asia Cup 2022 against Sri Lanka. Subsequently, he was shown the door in the ICC T20I World Cup 2022 in Australia and he is also not a part of Pakistan’s Test squad in the ongoing home series against England.

It is indeed a tough time for Hasan Ali and he needs the support of the fans the most at this juncture of his cricketing career. The mocking and heckling by fans only bring down the morale and confidence levels of a cricketer. Nobody drops a catch on purpose and it was a genuine mistake from Hasan Ali.

The 28-year-old pacer from Mandi Bahauddin (a city in Pakistan) has so far played 21 Test matches. Ali has also played 60 ODIs and 50 T20Is for the Pakistan cricket team. He has bagged 77, 91, and 6 wickets respectively.
